2012 Marks the 31st Anniversary of the Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph.

Welcome to the official Website of the Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph.  This website has been made possible by a generous grant from The Ontario Trillium Foundation.  Many thanks to IDavies Web Design for making this dream a reality.

The 2012 Kiwanis Music Festival of Guelph will run from April 9 to 27.  All solo and ensemble classes will take place during the first two weeks of the festival and choirs and bands will be during the third week.  See the Tentative Schedule for further details.

The Application Deadline has been extended to January 20, 2012 to accommodate the late Christmas holidays and allow sufficient time for teachers and students to prepare their applications. Online applications are now being accepted and the link can be found at the bottom of the Syllabus Page. Paper applications can be printed from the bottom of the Syllabus Page and submitted by mail or left in the Kiwanis Application Box at the Guelph Youth Music Centre. Applications not submitted online will be subject to a $3.00 paper handling fee.

The annual Valentine Gala Concert will be held at 7:30 on Friday, February 17, 2012 at the Guelph Youth Music Centre.  The Silent Auction will open at 7:00.  Delectable hors d'oeuvres and desserts will be served and beer and wine will be available for purchase. 

The Highlights of the Festival Concert & Awards Ceremony will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at St. George's Church.

The Festival Comittee would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the 2011 Festival such a success.  The Festival would not be able to run without the army of volunteers who help out every year.  We hope to see you all again in 2012.  If you know of anyone who would like to help out as a secretary or marshal in the future please pass their contact information on through this site.  There will be a Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon in June courtesy of the Kiwanis Club of Guelph.  Your service and dedication is greatly appreciated.
